The Residency Run aka The Tarheel Ten Miler April 21 2012

I made a promise to myself, that if my daughter-in-law, Sally, was placed in a residency program in the Chapel Hill NC area, I would run the Tarheel Ten Miler and raise money for her favorite non-profit. Well, it’s time to face the music, or shall I say the starting line on April 21st.

It’s a tough course, entirely rolling hills with a monster mile and a half long climb between miles 7.5-9. It’s a challenge to be sure. The non-profit Sally has chosen is Paws4Ever found at http://www.paws4ever.org/. I hope you will all contribute and support Sally’s fantastic accomplishment of completing her MD as well as he MPH and begins her residency at UNC Chapel Hill.

Thanks!
